During my recent visit to Moocks, I found a place that strikes a balance between charm and practicality. The lady owner's warm welcome set the tone for our stay, and her walking map proved invaluable for exploring the area's shops and restaurants. The hotel's shabby exterior is deceiving, as I found the interior to be impeccably clean and well-maintained. Our room, although modestly furnished, boasted a comfortable bed with crisp, clean linen and a quaint balcony overlooking the main street. The outdated shower room may not have been luxurious, but its spotless condition was more than satisfactory.Moocks offers essential amenities like Wi-Fi and free parking, ensuring convenience for guests. While lacking in modern features like a flat-screen TV, the hotel's charm and cleanliness make it a practical choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a cozy retreat in Altenau's picturesque surroundings.
